Science Alive

We had an exciting electricity session at school, with an educator from Science Alive where we learned about electrical circuits.
We found out that we needed a complete circuit with no gaps for the lightbulb to work.

We tried to make longer circuits whilst still getting the LED to light up.
We then made a circuit with a LED and a buzzer.

After we tried to make a series circuit with two LEDs and then a parallel circuit with two LEDs.
We added a switch to the circuit to turn the LED on and off.

Above is a series circuit with two LEDs.
After we had experimented with different circuits we were able to construct our own nightlight to take home.

Our finished working nightlights!
